The garden construction in Yokosuka city is over. The owner American and Japanese couple were pleased. It is a garden that incorporates many Japanese traditional techniques. I would like to convey the wonder of Japanese traditional culture to the people of the world. That is the desire of our company. It is a wonderful couple. 横須賀での作庭工事も終わり、引き渡しとなりました。

今回の現場はアメリカと日本人のご夫婦からのご依頼でした。

 

ご希望はジャパーニーズスタイルで！

との事でした。

燃えましたね～、日本の素材の魅力や季節感が感じられる様に意識して設計しています。

はりぼてではなく、全て本物の手の込んだ作り込みで構成しております。

米山庭苑こだわりの空間です。

 

旦那様の故郷のウィスコンシン州の景色を教えて頂いたり、色んな話をしながら仕事を進めて行きました。

せっかく日本に来てもらい、うちを選んで頂いたのだから、との気持ちを強く込めつくり込みました。

時間が掛かり、中々進んでいないので、様々な業者が見て行きました。

時代にはそぐわないかも知れないけど、うちはこのスタイルで今を生きて行きます。

本気ですから。

日本の伝統文化を愛する素敵なご夫婦です。

これから責任を持ち当社が庭を育てて行きます。

完成！

大変だけど、この瞬間の為にやり続けている様なモノ。

電気工事も終わり。

いよいよ仕上げの植栽作業に入っている

潮風に強い物をセレクトしながら。

Japanese garden is made of many materials. So you have to master many kinds of technologies. A combination of dynamic and delicate parts is interesting.
A gate pole and a water field are also made. We are also beginning planting trees.

現場の方は、古瓦を用いた門柱も形になり。

住まいの庭には、無いと不便な立水栓を設けたり。

細かい仕事もこなしています。

どれもオリジナル製品です。

コンクリート待ちなので、植木を植えています。

 

植栽が入ると、急に庭らしくなる。

 

大胆な仕事も繊細な仕事もこなします。

横須賀の現場は少しずつ進んでいます。

新規開発地の為、右も左も建築ラッシュです。

大体どのお宅も、二週間位で終わりどの業者も帰っていきます。ですから私達みたいに時間を掛けながら少しずつ進んで行く仕事は現代では珍しいらしく、色んな業者の方々が見て行きます。

 

戦後、建築のスピードを上げる為にコンクリートブロックなどの新建材が開発され、現代では主流になりました。

うちは、美しい日本の景観に戻す努力をしています。

基本は天然素材で構成する事。

伝えて行きたいです。

 

洗い出し。

今回は、マサ土を使用。

愛知県産の砂と石臼、古瓦のコラボレーション。

柔らかい、優しい質感です。

雨落ち。

菊炭構成していま。

茶道でも使用される、菊の花に似た断面になっていて美しいです。

クヌギを同じ長さに揃えた、贅沢な品です。

 

クレーンを使用し、門柱も行け込みました。

 

 

 

現代では考えられない手間を掛けた手仕事を、現代の日本の住まいの庭にも提案して行きます。

Garden construction in Yokosuka. I also made stairs, I also do fine work. Old kawara.
I showed to the people of the landscape union of kunitachi city the garden we made. We had lunch with kamakura matsubaran we made. I was pleased.
At night we are celebrating 20 years old of our staff and celebrating party of passing the exam.
We are also focusing on human resource development.

その合間に国立市の造園組合の方々を、うちの作庭した庭を案内しました。

うちが外部空間を手掛けている鎌倉　松原庵にてランチ。

皆様、遠い所お疲れ様でした。

夜は祝いの宴。

スタッフの二十歳の祝い。

資格試験に合格したスタッフの祝い。

めでたし、めでたし。

現場の方は古瓦で道をつくったりしています。

次世代に繋いでいくには、人材の育成が大切だと常に考えています。

庭の伝統技術と心意気を次世代へ繋いでいく。

玄関周りも、古瓦や、古民具の100年位前の石臼。

鎌倉石や、古い鞍馬石など、すぐには揃えられない材で構成します。

水の景色も少しずつ進んでいます。

 

短時間でチャチャっと出来る物には魂は宿らない。

表は石積みで。

この高さでも、このクラスの石で積むと力強いです。

雨の日も、カッコいい踏み石をコツコツ作成したり、日々楽しんでいます。

当たり前の事を当たり前にこなす。

これ大切な事。

大きめの石を使い迫力があります。

 

アメリカ人の旦那様は、仕事から帰って来ると、熱心に私たちの仕事風景をカメラで撮影しています。

 

「日本のテイストを感じられる庭」にとのご希望にそえる様に気合い入ってます。

Workshop of Kanagawa branch of the Japanese Garden Association
I will begin with a five-year plan. The start uses stone work and big stone with big machine.
As a deputy branch chief, I will pass the skills and culture of the Japanese garden to the next generation and the people of the world.

日本庭園協会　神奈川県支部による数年計画の壮大なプランがスタートしました。

初めは石積み。

数ある手法の中の一つの崩れ積みと呼ばれる積み方で、主に西日本で多くみられますが、関東では野面積みが主流です。

講師をお願いしたのは、山梨県の作庭処　かわぐちの川口氏。

敷地のスケール感に合わせた石の大きさにしています。

大型の重機も終わりまで使います。

まずは根石の勘所。

二手三手目の説明。

手慣れた的確な石の選定で、短時間で積み上げて行きます。

川口さんの熱の入ったご指導に、会員も大変勉強になりました。

今後、それぞれがこの経験を生かし自分の庭に取り入れて行ければいいと思う。

自分が副支部長の神奈川県支部ですが、裏神奈川県支部長です（笑

これから開始する現場は横須賀の高台にあります。

相模湾から富士山の眺めが最高な場所。

すぐ下に佐島漁港があり、鎌倉の腰越と佐島のシラスはこの辺りでは有名で時期になると都内からも買いに来る人が多くいます。

そんな丘の上がここ数年大造成されており、自分個人的にも好きな場所。

 

 

そんな中でアメリカと日本人のご夫婦からの庭つくりのご依頼がありました。

 

ご希望は、japanese テイストを感じられる空間が欲しいとの事でうちにオファーがありました。

 

世界の人々に日本の庭園のすばらしさ、日本の伝統文化の魅力が伝える事が出来ればいいなと想いを込めて、明日から開始します。

 

この現場で春を迎えよう。
